Chassity White, RMT
Chassity graduated from the Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapy in 2002. She also completed a Bachelor of Science at the University of Winnipeg and is a co-owner of Urban Massage Therapy. With her clinical experience and years of running our clinic, she uses a scientific approach to helping the most complicated patient pathologies.
Darcy Harpe Lesperance, RMT
Darcy graduated from Massage Therapies Studies (Grant McEwan, Edmonton Alberta) in 2003. He moved to Winnipeg in 2007 to study the Iyengar tradition of Hatha Yoga and has been teaching Iyengar Yoga at Wellness Institute since 2009. Using primarily deep tissue and Swedish massage techniques, with a few stretches thrown in for good measure, Darcy isolates and treats the tight muscles that contribute to postural or movement dysfunction. Currently, he is studying the mind/body connection in the Religious Studies department at the University of Manitoba.
Michael White, RMT
Mike is the co-owner of Urban Massage Therapy and has been a Registered Massage Therapist since 2001. He is a graduate of Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapy along with holding accreditation in “Foundations of Acupuncture” from the College of Acupuncture and Therapeutics. Mike incorporates Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, and cupping techniques along with Acupuncture for an integrated approach to benefit his patients.
Heidi Brodland, RMT
Heidi graduated from the Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapy in 2017. She has been working in the health care industry since 2011. Heidi is excited to continue learning new skills and techniques and plans to further her studies in the coming years. She enjoys pursuing new athletic activities such as triathlon, CrossFit and martial arts. She holds certificates in Pre/Post Sport Massage and Sports Therapy and likes working with athletes of all levels to reach their personal goals. She is passionate about people finding health and wellness in their everyday life.
Shannon Halliday, RMT
Shannon graduated from the Professional Institute of Massage Therapy in 2010 and is a registered member with the Massage Therapy Association of Manitoba. Shannon incorporates a variety of techniques into her practice to best suit her clients needs; both physically and mentally. Treatments with Shannon may include therapeutic massage, traditional swedish techniques, relaxation/light massage, trigger point therapy, stretching and cupping. Each client of Shannon’s’ is treated with the utmost respect and receives her full attention and compassion.
Vienna Demeduk, RMT
Vienna is a massage therapist with 16 years of experience. She is a graduate of the Massage Therapy College of Manitoba and has a degree from the University of Manitoba. Vienna’s treatments focus on the person as a whole, physical and emotional. Her goal is to help people relieve pain, muscle dysfunction and to deeply relax through the use of deep tissue work and traditional massage techniques. When Vienna is not at the clinic, she can often be seen chasing her Grandbaby through the streets of beautiful Wolseley or back in Vancouver hiding out at yoga studios.
